This is the wrong time of the year for birding. But, this is the only time I have a chance to explore the park.
The Vermilion flycatcher ( Pyrocephalus rubinus ) is raising there young and they are thick in Cottonwood campground. Extremely easy to take. The only problem is there is so much sun it makes it difficult to find on in the shade. Very hot....
